Green Workplace

Aberdeenshire UNISON members work in a wide range of environmental roles such as cleansing, roads and transportation, waste collection and recycling, planning and environment, housing and building standards, property, environmental health, countryside rangers; landscape and open spaces.

Steve Gray is our Branch Green Network Champion and is working to ensure that the branch keeps Green issues to the forefront of our work and that we all act to stop climate change.

Steve said: “As we saw in the increasing incidents of storms and heat wave we all face a common challenge the Climate Emergency which impacts directly and indirectly on our work and home lives.”
