Aberdeen St Andrews Day March and Rally

At Branch Committee on 5th Nov the Branch agreed to fully support the St Andrews Day anti racist and anti fascist March and Rally which will take place on Sat 28th November.

Please come out and join us in giving a clear message that racism and fascism are not welcome here in Aberdeenshire.

Meet in the UNISON Resource Centre berween 12 noon and 12.15pm. We will take the branch banner on the march.

The march itself will begin at Rubislaw Gardens (opposite Harlaw Academy) gathering at 12.30pm and setting off at 1pm for the rally in Castlegate at 1.30pm.

There will be speakers from Trade Unions, Community Organisations and Political Parties at the rally.

Sultan Feroz Secretary of Aberdeen trades Union council said, "We are pleased that Aberdeen City Council has given permission for this important event to go ahead."
