Branch
offers support and solidarity to the unions taking action 30th
June 2011
The branch has offered its support and solidarity to unions
in the 'first wave' of industrial action in defence of our pensions.
The PCS, the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL), the
National Union of Teachers (NUT) and the University and College
Union (UCU) have all balloted their members and had a resounding
YES vote for a day of action. All four unions, consisting of 750,000
workers are now set to take co-ordinated strike action on 30 June.
The Branch will be sending a message of solidarity and support
to these unions on the day.

on the day.
