Aberdeen May Day March and Rally 2012
March against the cuts and against racism and fascism
at the 2012 May Day March and Rally, which will gather at St Nicholas
Churchyard, Union St, Aberdeen from 11am.
Organised
by Aberdeen Trades Union Council (ATUC), it will march off at
11.30am to a Rally in the Castlegate at 12noon.

The guest speaker at the Rally will be Cheryl Gedling of the
PCS Union. There will also be speakers from Local Trade Unions;
Aberdeen Against Austerity; Scottish Palestinian Solidarity Campaign;
the Students Union, MP's and MSP's.
Please bring your banners, flags, pendants and boards etc to
make the march and rally as colourful as possible.
Refreshments will be laid on after the march and rally in the
ATUC Club, Adelphi, Aberdeen once the rally has concluded.
Brian Carroll, Chair of the ATUC urged union members and community
activists to attend the march and rally in numbers. He said, "This
will be a springboard for those who will be taking Strike Action
on Thursday 10th May in respect of the national Fair Pensions
For All Campaign."
