Members' shock as Inspire consults on changes to structures, terms and working conditions

UNISON members in inspire were left shocked and dismayed after a series of briefings in Aberdeen and Inverurie which outlined proposals for changes to terms and conditions and an operational restructure.

Meetings between UNISON and Inspire management to discuss the proposals start on 15th July and will continue over the next three months of the consultation period.

"We want to be able to clearly represent the views of our members when we meet with management," said Bob Revie, Branch Secretary. "They are the people who know best how these proposals will impact on themselves and the services they provide to very vulnerable people. It is vital that we hear their views.

"In order that UNISON can respond we need members’ views. If you are a UNISON member in Inspire, please email the branch at aberdeenshire@unison.co.uk and let us know what YOU think of these proposals," added Bob.
