UNISON Scotland launches Education Issues Group

Following on from the success of the Social Work Issues Group, UNISON Scotland has set up an Education Issues Group for all members who work in the field of education. This includes classroom assistants, nursery nurses, school technicians, janitorial staff, catering and cleaning staff and administrative and clerical staff and all other education support staff. The group has representatives from all across Scotland and from across the range of these different occupations.

The group has issued its first newsletter, UNISON in Scottish Education and held a delegate conference for classroom assistants on Saturday 29th September 2007. Click here for further information.
