UNISON is holding a BBQ for LGBT, Straight Allies and Young Members, on Saturday 4th May starting at 12:30pm to 4pm at the Grampian Resource Centre, 7 Alford Place, AB10 1YD.
This will begin after the May Day march down Union Street on the same day, starting 11:00am @ Rubislaw and Queens Terrace Gardens.
The BBQ will involve food and beverages, playing games such as Giant Jenga, Ludo, snakes and ladders etc., followed by an interactive session on TU campaigns. This year’s focus is on mental health. Young members are taking forward a ‘How’s yer heid’ campaign to highlight mental health issues within young people.
Some of the Scottish Young Members Committee will be attending, so if anyone wants to find out more, they will be more than happy to have a chat.
