Are you a UNISON member coming up to retirement? Or have you retired already? Well you can stay active in UNISON by joining our branch retired members’ section.
Here’s a link to the retired members’ official information on the website. The activities we can currently take part in are campaigning and organising. Any recruiting or administrative work we get involved with would be done with the branch committee’s knowledge and support.

Currently, a small group of us meet every two months. We chat, discuss general branch activities, ongoing campaigns and whether to offer our help.
There is an option to meet up for social events, and I would like to do this, but I would need help from our retired members to organise this, as we cover such a wide area.
