All branch members are invited to attend one of the Annual General Meetings of the Aberdeenshire Branch of UNISON
Tuesday 13th February 2024 – Dundee – 7-9pm
Wednesday 14th February 2024 – Online – 12-2pm
Thursday 15th February 2024 – Peterhead – 7-9pm
Prize draw and buffet
This year we will be holding a prize draw at each AGM with 1 person at each AGM winning £250, and runners up prizes of £100 and £50 shopping voucher of their choice. Come along – you might just win! All attendees’ names will be entered into the draw at each meeting and the winners announced at the end of each meeting.
A buffet will be provided at each of the in-person meetings in Dundee and Peterhead. This will be served prior to the start of the meeting.
Guest speaker
Our Guest speaker is Lorraine Thompson, Chair of UNISON EIG (Education Issues Group), Vice Chair of Local Government Committee, NEC Member and Early Years Worker.

Whether you work for Aberdeenshire Council, Cornerstone or one of the many other employers Aberdeenshire UNISON represents we aim to have something for everyone. Cuts in every employer and demands on your time continue! We need you, our members, to participate. We need you to respond to surveys and ballots, to have your say and shape the way your branch operates, to ensure your views are represented and heard.
Aberdeenshire UNISON has shown over the last 3 years that we can deliver when it comes to statutory ballots and this year’s successful industrial action. You, our members, have shown that you are not to be taken for granted and that you are prepared to stand up and demand to be treated with respect.
We have tried to shape the AGM to reflect the issues are bringing to us, we hope you find something of interest.
Pleases come along and bring a fellow member. The AGM is your chance to hear about the work we are doing on your behalf and a chance for you to shape the future of your Union. Members of the Branch Committee will be on hand to answer any questions or just to chat.
