Aberdeenshire UNISON is encouraging our members to support Climate Week North East.
Organised by Aberdeen Climate Action, this takes place from 12-21 March and is a week packed full of events designed to raise awareness of climate change and show what we can all do to make a difference.
Branch Green Champion Steve Gray said, “Climate Week North East is a week packed full of fun, inspiring and interesting events, designed to raise awareness of climate change but, more importantly, show what we can all do to make a difference and reduce our carbon footprint in a fun way.
“You can discover what is going on in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, learn, have fun, and be inspired to live more sustainably.
“Family Fun Days, guided walks and bike rides, upcycling events, tours, wild meadow making, workshops and discussions, conferences, litter picks, films and talks, craft and story sessions, information drop ins; with over 120 different events there really is something for everyone in Climate Week North East 2020.
“Check out the CWNE brochure for more information and to plan which events you’ll go to. For up to the moment information on our events and what is going on locally see the facebook page.”
