Climate Hazards and Resilience in the Workplace – please check out the handbook

UNISON members, their families, friends and communities face a stormy start to 2023. Just like 2022, drought warnings are spreading across Europe and fresh food is being rationed in the supermarkets.

Branch Green Champion, Steve Gray, has written out to all our members to highlight a helpful resource to help members find their way through this maze of events.

UNISON Scotland teamed up with the Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) to work with the Government Agency Adaptation Scotland to produce the Climate Hazards and Resilience in the Workplace Handbook and Workbook.

When you get a chance please can you look at the handbook and workbook online to see how helpful these resources are to you?

An online meeting is being organised for Wednesday 29th March at 7pm to discuss how to improve these resources. Please contact the Grampian Resource Centre a GrampianResourceCentre@unison.co.uk to get further information.

A review of the handbook and workbook is planned for Wednesday 3rd May so this your chance to help make these resources better suited to what you and your work colleagues need.
