Course sets 16 new women activists on their Pathways into UNISON

#WomenInUNISON #UNISON The branch held a very successful Pathways training course for new women activists on 7th and 8th June 2019 in Aberdeen.

The course saw 16 women come together to find out more about the union and to build confidence to become more involved. It was organised by UNISON organisers Karen Davidson and Susan Kennedy.

Susan said, “It was a real privilege to inspire, support and engage with a wonderful group of women members.

“We now have 16 new activists, who we look forward to supporting on their chosen Pathways into UNISON.

“Karen and I also look forward to delivering Steward training to some of this wonderful group in July.”

Susan added, “It was a very special experience for me, my journey through UNISON began with Pathways and I have just delivered a course to support the same opportunities for other women.
