One Year of Covid – please complete the survey

Those of our council members on email will have received a request to complete a survey by our UNISON Scotland’s local government leaders.

Please make sure you complete the survey and let us have your views on what has been difficult and what UNISON Scotland’s local government priorities should be as we move out of Covid.

It takes less than 10 minutes but it is really important that we hear as many of our members voices as possible.

You can complete the survey here

Email text sent to members:

We know that the past year has been difficult for all our members working across local government. Whether you have been on the frontline, supporting the frontline or working from home, Covid has had an impact on everyone.

As we pass one year of life in the pandemic, we want to hear how it has impacted on your working life, how you have felt about the changes it has brought and what we as your trade union should be prioritising in our negotiations with your employer in the year ahead.

Please complete our survey below – it will take less than 10 minutes of your time and the information you give us will really help inform our arguments at the negotiating table.

We would appreciate you filling in the survey as soon as you can, but certainly by Monday 12 April.

We know members will also have questions on where we are in pay negotiations right now. We remain in negotiations with COSLA on this and are fighting hard to secure you a pay rise that reflects the enormous contribution you have made over the past year. You can read the pay claim that we submitted here: https://www.unison-scotland.org/local-government-trade-unions-submit-2021-pay-claim-to-cosla. We will keep you informed of progress and more information on this will be coming out to you on this soon.

With grateful thanks,
